This just in! Auditions for Buddy Hannah's play Caught up in the Circle of Life directed by Marissa Danielle Harrington (plays Feb 18th), and auditions for The Incognito Detective Service written and directed by Tim Eschelbach (plays March 11th) will be on January 30th and 31st at KNAC (formerly First Baptist Church) - 315 W. Michigan Ave Kalamazoo, MI. Auditions start promptly at 7 pm and run until finished, no later than 9 pm. Rehearsals are the week of the show MWF and will be held at KNAC.
Caught up in the Circle of Life: All characters are frequent visitors of The Pink Lady a restaurant owned by Megan Blair. Titus Gordon is an up and coming young executive with a six figure salary who when due to cuts at the company he works for he lose his job which leads to him becoming homeless and living on the streets. Det. Fiona Collins is a detective assigned to the neighborhood she grew up in. She is fed up with the crime in the neighborhood and has a dislike for homeless people. As the story unfolds, Det. Collins is involved in a shooting that kills Titus. Amanda Larson is the sister of Titus and hold’s Det. Collins responsible for her brother’s death. Her husband, Joshua is the brother of Det. Collins a secret he has kept from his wife and Det. Collins due to his past life of crime. Rev. Swain is a frequent visitor to the restaurant and the others are under the impression that he is having an affair with Megan when in reality she is his long lost daughter with whom he is trying to establish a relationship with.
