MARCH 6, 2026: "LOVE GAMES": ALL EARS AFTER DARK & IMPROVISED GOLDEN AGE OF RADIO

A completely new form of improv inspired by the classic Old Time Radio shows of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. The cast of Improvised Golden Age of Radio (IGAR) takes the themes, language, and technology of the era to create an immersive improvised audio soundscape for their live audience.

Taking advantage of dozens of toys on their live foley table, the sound effects and performances paint a hilarious picture of a classic drama-gone-wrong. Stay tuned!

Two romantic couples, and a pair of friends, use games to express love and overcome the obstacles that prevent growth in their respective relationships.

“The Home Version”: When Celia decides to make a game out of the annoying telemarketer interruptions at home, Max reluctantly plays along, to discover that everyone can be a winner.

“Hard-Boiled”: When Bobby and Carol, a tough talking couple out of a bad film noir script, square off in a battle between a potato gun and a banana phone, who will come out on top?

“Leaners and Limits”: When Fred and Ralph quibble over the rules of their horseshoe match a sudden, serious turn of events provides a reminder of what really matters in the world.

MARCH 14, 2026: "Chase Marlow In "The Doctor Has a Beau" Written and directed by Donald Ramlow, co-founder of All Ears Theatre

Sandal Creek's Doctor Bonnie is usually too busy to relax, and when she starts spending time with a new beau everyone wonders just who the man is.  Chase Marlow, U.S. Marshal, is especially curious since he is very protective of the town's only doctor.  Is there more to this man than what appears?

APRIL 18, 2026: "The Tortoise and the Hare"
adapted by David Isaacson and directed by Jessica Bocade.

This play channels Monty Python with Aesop's fable about how a slow and steady tortoise outruns an arrogant rabbit. "This contemporary version will upset only snobs, none of whom attend All Ears Theatre plays anyway," notes playwright David Isaacson.

MAY 2, 2026: "The Adventures of Johnny Forest & Sue McGee: The Dragonfly"

written by Deborah Hanley, and directed by Jen Hebben.

Return with us to 1950s America, when a highly anticipated biplane fly-in event at the county fair attracts a criminal element that puts The Dragonfly - a rare Sopwith Pup - in peril.
